Research Associate

Research Interests

I am interested in the influence of natural and human disturbances on vegetation dynamics. Past research has focused on disturbance dynamics and successional patterns in several eastern forest types. Currently, I am the project manager for the Flambeau Experiment - a study designed to examine the development of old-growth forest processes following the addition of large woody debris and canopy openings in a second-growth northern hardwood forest.

Current Projects
Experimental manipulation of northern hardwoods forest structure
